Straighten Your Teeth Comfortably and Discreetly with Clear Aligner Therapy

Do you need orthodontic treatment in Pratt, Kansas, without anyone noticing? Using clear aligner therapy from Pratt Family Dental, you can achieve that! Having traditional braces as the only orthodontic option is a thing of the past—clear aligner therapy by Drs. Carson Hopkins and Steven Kunz straighten your teeth without bulky, conspicuous wires and brackets.

How do clear aligners work?

Traditional braces straighten teeth through a carefully designed system of brackets, wires, and bands (elastics). These components work harmoniously to apply consistent, gentle pressure to the teeth, gradually moving them into the desired positions.

Clear aligners use the same principle but use transparent, custom-made plastic aligners instead of metal appliances. These aligners fit snugly over your teeth and gradually move them into desired positions over time. Designed with advanced computer technology, clear aligners provide precise, controlled, and predictable results.

Modern dental advancements make clear aligners as effective as traditional braces. Our doctors can use the aligners to resolve dental issues like gapped, overlapping, and crooked teeth. Additionally, the aligners can resolve malocclusions like overbites, crossbites, and underbites.

What can I expect from the clear aligner therapy?

Your treatment starts with a consultation with our dentist. We’ll assess your oral health to ensure you don’t have tooth decay and gum infections. We’ll examine your orthodontic issues and discuss your treatment goals and expectations.

Clear aligner orthodontics uses a digital-led approach to achieve optimal dental outcomes. After your consultation, we’ll digitally scan your teeth to create a 3D rendering of your smile. Then, using sophisticated technology, we’ll map out your treatment plan, predicting how your teeth move at every treatment stage.

Our partner dental lab will create your aligners based on your treatment plan. Each set of aligners is worn for 10-14 days before switching to the next in line. Gradually, your aligners move your teeth into proper alignment, and it won’t take long to experience noticeable results.

What are the benefits of clear aligners?

Transform your smile today with clear aligners and achieve the following benefits.

  • Discreetness: Can you imagine perfecting your misaligned smile without anyone noticing it? This is the beauty of clear aligners. Thanks to their transparent nature, clear aligners become “invisible” when in the mouth. This allows you to correct gaps, misalignments, and bite issues without drawing unnecessary attention.
  • Maximum comfort: Clear aligners achieve super comfortable results because they don’t use metal wires and brackets. The aligners are created from smooth, medical-grade material that ensures comfortable treatment from start to finish.
  • Removable convenience: Clear aligners can be removed at will, ensuring you clean your teeth and eat your favorite foods without limitations. This way, you can eat nuts, popcorn, steak, and other so-called forbidden foods of traditional orthodontic treatment. Similarly, you can brush your teeth effectively without worrying about navigating wires and brackets.
  • Predictable outcomes: During your consultation, we’ll digitally preview your final smile before the treatment begins. This visual roadmap sets clear expectations and provides confidence that the final results will align with the initial treatment goals. This predictability eliminates guesswork from your treatment.
