Sophisticated cosmetic dentistry in your neighborhood: Bringing out the unique beauty of patients’ smiles

At Pratt Family Dental, we provide state-of-the-art and exceptional dentistry right in your neighborhood! We have eliminated the hassle, time, and expense of traveling to the city for services and procedures designed to restore your smile’s health, structure, function, and beauty.

In fact, Drs Carson Hopkins and Steven Kunz serve Southcentral Kansas with a wide range of cosmetic dentistry treatments. Our approach to these procedures is to elevate the beauty of your teeth, gums, and smile in a way that complements your one-of-a-kind features and aligns with your personal goals. So, results from treatment always look naturally beautiful.

Our dentists are well-trained and use advanced technology to enhance your smile. They can address various concerns to improve or completely transform the appearance of your smile.

  • Stubborn stains and discoloration
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Chipped teeth and other surface imperfections
  • Small cracks or fractures
  • Crowding and other spacing issues
  • Irregularly-shaped teeth
  • “Undersized” or worn-down teeth

All treatments at our office start with a consultation and exam. Drs Hopkins and Kunz will ensure that your concern is cosmetic and not caused by an underlying disease or condition (such as decay). From there, we may recommend professional teeth whitening. By trusting your whitening to the “pros,” you can ensure that your results are noticeable, even (and look natural).

Veneers are highly versatile; we can apply thin layers of dental ceramic, such as porcelain, to cover up flaws. “Treatable” cosmetic conditions include chipped teeth, excess or uneven spacing between teeth, and imbalances in the shape and size of a tooth. Veneers may also be appropriate to correct stubbornly discolored teeth that do not respond adequately to professional whitening treatment.

For more extensive spacing and “bite” issues, Orthosnap clear aligners may be in your future. This alternative blends both restorative and cosmetic dentistry. We can restore or achieve the correct positioning of the teeth by using transparent, smooth, precision-fit appliances or “aligners.” These aligner trays place consistent forces on the teeth to gently and gradually move them into proper placements. They can also be removed to ensure that the teeth are cleaned properly throughout treatment and allow for the most comfortable eating while patients straighten their teeth. When worn as advised, these aligners can correct misalignment more predictably and efficiently than other systems/alternatives to braces.

As needed, we may need to recommend other restorative dentistry services. These include crowns, bridges, and implant-supported teeth that are visually appealing and “built to last.” Call your home for exceptional dental care in Southcentral KS at (620) 672-3612 to learn more.
